From fabric 1, cut:
{A} (4) 2½” x 4½” rectangles
{B} (36) 1½” squares
{C} (4) 2½” squares
From fabric 2, cut:
{C} (1) 2½” square
From fabric 3, cut:
{B} (1) 1½” squares
{D} (2) 1½” x 5½”
{G} (1) 1½” x 2½”
From fabric 4, cut:
{E} (4) 1½” x 4½” rectangles
{F} (4) 1½” x 3½” rectangles
From fabric 5, cut:
{B} (1) 1½” squares
{D} (2) 1½” x 5½”
{G} (1) 1½” x 2½”
From fabric 6, cut:
{B} (1) 1½” squares
{D} (2) 1½” x 5½”
{G} (1) 1½” x 2½”
From fabric 7, cut:
{B} (1) 1½” squares
{D} (2) 1½” x 5½”
{G} (1) 1½” x 2½”
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1. MAKE QUADRANTS
Gather the following pieces:
Fabric 1:
(9) 1½” squares
(1) 2½” square
(1) 2½” x 4½” rectangle
Fabric 3:
(2) 1½” x 5½” rectangles
(1) 2½” square
(1) 1½” x 2½” rectangle
Fabric 4:
(1) 1½” x 3½” rectangle
(1) 1½” x 4½” rectangle
EASY CORNER TRIANGLES - Mark a pencil line on the wrong side diagonal of each of (6) 1½” Fabric 1 squares. Taking care with direction of th marked line, place wrong sides together on (1) 1½” x 5½” Fabric 3 rectangle. Sew ON the marked line. Trim ¼” away from the sewn line. Press. Repeat with remaing Fabric 1 and Fabric 3 and 4 pieces. Assemble quadrant as shown. DO NOT ATTACH 1 of the Fabric 1/Fabric 3 long units.
Repeat to make remaining quadrants with Fabric 5, 6, and 7.
STEP 2. MAKE CENTER
Using the loose pieces from previous step, create the center of the block.
STEP 3. ASSEMBLE BLOCK
Join blocks units as shown. Trim the block to 12.5” unfinished block size
