Press and starch all fabrics prior to cutting. Use a scant 1/4" seam.

INGREDIENTS
From fabric 1, cut:
{A} (16) 3½” squares
From fabric 2, cut:
{B} (4) 3½” x 6½” rectangles
From fabric 3, cut:
{B} (4) 3½” x 6½” rectangles
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1. MAKE PARALLELOGRAMS
Draw a line corner to corner on the back of (1) 3½” Fabric 1 square. Align it, right sides together, on (1) Fabric 2 rectangle. Sew on the line. Trim the seam to ¼” and press to Fabric 2. Repeat with another Fabric 1 square, sewing it to the other end of the Fabric 2 rectangle, keeping the slant going in the same direction. Make 2.
Repeat using Fabric 1 squares and the Fabric 3 rectangles. Make 2.
STEP 2. MAKE FLYING GEESE
Draw a line corner to corner on the back of (2) 3 ½” Fabric 1 squares. Align (1) square, right sides together, on (1) Fabric 2 rectangle. Sew on the line, trim and press towards Fabric 1. Repeat with the other Fabric 1 square, ensuring the slant is going in the opposite direction, to create a Flying Geese unit. Make 2.
Repeat using the Fabric 1 squares and Fabric 3 rectangles. Make 2.
STEP 3. ASSEMBLE BLOCK
Layout the block as shown. Sew (1) Flying Geese unit to (1) Parallelogram unit. Press towards the Parallelograms. Sew all four units together to create the block.
