Have fun! This block is a perfect one to use a simple palette or make it scrappy with all of your leftovers!

INGREDIENTS

From fabric 1, cut:
{A} (2) 3½" squares
{B} (4) 4" squares
{C} (4) 2½” squares
{D} (4) 2" squares

From fabric 2, cut:
{A} (2) 3½” squares
{B} (4) 4” squares
{C} (4) 2½” squares
{D} (4) 2” squares

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1. MAKE HALF SQUARE TRIANGLES

Draw a pencil line on the wrong side diagonal of 1 Fabric 1 B square. Pair with Fabric 2 B square. Sew ¼” away from each side of the pencil line. Cut apart on the line and press to the darker print. Trim to 3½” square. Make 8.

Repeat process with Fabric C squares. Trim to 1½” square. Make 8.

STEP 2. MAKE QUADRANTS 2, 3

Join block quadrants as shown. Press. Make 2 of each.

STEP 3. ASSEMBLE BLOCK

Join block quadrants as shown. Press. Block measures 12.5" unfinished.
